It’s “Once In A Blue Moon” Day

A “Blue Moon” occurs whenever there is a second full moon during a calendar month.  They don’t happen all that often… only once every two to three years.
 
Hence, the phrase:
 

“Once in a Blue Moon I’ll… “

 
It’s just something we don’t do all that often.
 
Well… I don’t know about you, but in my book there are some things that fall under the “Once in a Blue Moon” category that simply deserve to be done more often than once every few years!
 
Today we get to change things up!  Seize that opportunity!
 

For today IS that “Once in a Blue Moon” day!

 
Just in case you need some inspiration for seizing your “Once in a Blue Moon” day, here are some ideas to get you going:
 

Once in a Blue Moon, I’ll

• Go to the movies in the middle of the day
• Read a trashy novel
• Speak with a silly accent
• Dress up in costume and pretend I always dress like that
• Drink a beer and sit watching the ocean
• Sing at the DMV for no reason
• Do guerilla drawings on the street to brighten up a random stranger’s day
• Go to a local little league game and cheer for everybody
• Walk in the grass without any shoes on
• Watch an epic film series back-to-back-to-back
• Take something apart and put it back together

Today, I think I’ll join the Pacific Ocean for a beer over lunch.
