With St. Patrick’s Day just around the corner, it seemed appropriate to share a Good Enough tutorial that could help you celebrate. And what – outside of green beer – is more appropriate for the day than a four-leaf clover?
Want to whip up something green to wear on your lapel? Need a bit o’ extra luck on your side? Here’s how to draw a Good Enough four-leaf clover of your very own!
When you get right down to it… a clover is basically a cluster of hearts. Typical clovers have three leaves… so it must be the extra heart that gives a four-leaf clover all its luck!
As they say in the Old Country,
May your blessings outnumber
The shamrocks that grow,
And may trouble avoid you
Wherever you go.
~Irish Blessing
Want to have fun drawing AND inspire others to pick up the pen at the same time? Got something you wish you could draw, but you’re not sure how to approach it? Tweet your drawing or idea to @jeannelking and tag it with #goodenough: it could be featured in an upcoming “how to draw good enough” blog post!
Looking forward to seeing what you draw forth!
