Share a doodle of gratitude this holiday season

December is the month where I formally reflect on the year that’s been and think about the year that’s to come. With this reflection often comes gratitude: gratitude for the things we’ve done, lessons we’ve learned, people we’ve met and the people we’ve become.

While it’s nice to fill our own hearts with gratitude, however, its effects are that much greater when we share this gratitude with others.

This year, let’s share our gratitude and spread the happy with some simple doodles! Here’s how:

1. Draw something simple that expresses your gratitude – it could be a smiley face, it could be a heart, it could be a fun “thank you” doodled on a page, it could be anything!

2. Once you have that little drawing, give it to someone who did something special or showed an extra dose of kindness to someone today and see what happens.

3. Share your experience in the comments below, and let’s fill some hearts this holiday season!

As always, I cannot WAIT to see what you draw forth,

P.S. This is inspired by a European video commercial I saw floating around on Facebook a while ago, where that single piece of paper brightens the day of a whole bunch of people, but for the life of me I can’t find it! If you know the video I’m talking about, and happen to have a link to it, would you please share in the comments section? Thanks! :^)
